RFID and Asset Visibility - Opportunities,
Challenges and The Way Ahead
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID),
Automatic Identification Technology (AIT), Item Unique Identification (IUID) and
other next-generation identification technologies have radically altered OSD and
Services' approaches to asset visibility and supply chain transformation.
Applications and implementation success stories are numerous. Now, the
challenge is to set up a framework for effectively collecting, managing, and
deploying RFID/AIT and IUID data throughout the enterprise.
This conference goes beyond other RFID
forums that deal only with the latest technology developments and applications
to discuss the best approaches, techniques and practices for exploiting the
potential of RFID.We have brought together the top
level defense and industry experts who are at the forefront of implementing RFID,
AIT and IUID. They will provide a comprehensive examination of the latest
Government Needs, Initiatives and Compliance strategies; the lessons learned in
early implementations of active and passive RFID, and the state and future of
the science in RFIDbased tracking. How can RFID and IUID be used to create a
comprehensive AIT plan? What are the challenges and potential solutions in
setting up an enterprise-wide architecture for RFID operations? How do you
determine the real ROI on an RFID implementation project?
These and many other critical questions will be addressed during this
important event.
