The worldwide Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) community spends $4.4 billion annually. In the next 10 years, this number will double. With successful UAS attacks on insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan and 72% of the UAS market spending to come from the U.S., “lethal ISR” promises to be a major focal point in near-term UAS development. The Predator, Reaper and Hunter have shown unprecedented capability in pairing persistent surveillance with quick, precision strike further adding to their value as integral assets on the battlefield. As a result, DoD and the Services are forging ahead with UAS weaponization development from the near-term Army Sky Warrior to the long-term Navy UCAS and everything in between including smaller unmanned aircraft.

This outstanding conference examines the latest needs, challenges and opportunities for arming unmanned aircraft systems. What are the DoD's needs and initiatives for armed UASs? What is the Air Force vision for their next-generation hunter-killer? What are the emerging weapon systems for Unmanned Aircraft and how will they change UAS battlefield capabilities? What are the latest technologies that will optimize Unmanned Aircraft Systems for the DoD's goal of precision engagement? What is the path ahead for small UAS weaponization and what are possible shortterm solutions? What are the Services' weapon development and integration plans? What are the latest developments in UAS targeting and other enabling technologies?

These and many other questions will be addressed during this outstanding event.
